CURRENT PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Complementing his role as a coach and trainer for the Academy of Coaching and Inspiration, Mitch Berman consults and coaches on an independent basis, offering targeted expertise in Career Development, Voice and Self-Image Optimization, and Applied Business English. He is driven by a passion to transform and inspire companies, executives, and individuals, especially in an international context.
PERSONAL PROFILE
Mitch was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. An avid actor/singer, sportsman, and adventurer, he has forged a path pursuing his studies and career along an international route including Chicago, Seattle, and Prague, where he lived and worked for 14 years. He currently calls Barcelona his home.
TRAINING
MBA with concentration in marketing and management policy from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. B.S., summa cum laude, in Economics and Engineering Science from Vanderbilt University.
- Trained as a professional coach by the Coaches Training Institute (accredited by the International Coach Federation)
- Completed training by CRR (Center for Right Relationship) in Alchemy 3 – The Art and Magic of Co-Facilitation
- Received formal training from The Coca-Cola Company in Leadership and Coaching & Feedback
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Mitch has dedicated over 18 years of his career to undertaking business development, marketing, and account management leadership roles across progressive areas of the telecommunications, media, consumer products, and entertainment industries. Skilled at wearing many hats and adapting to new environments, he has successfully managed transitions to and from blue-chip companies such as Telenor, The Coca-Cola Company, Amazon.com, and Deloitte.
His development spans a variety of different business contexts:
- From private start-ups of 2-8 people to multinational corporate giants
- Both client side and agency orientations
- Communication and negotiation across distinct, varying cultures/markets including Argentina, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Slovakia, Spain, and the U.S.
